Siemens to Add 1,400 Jobs in Jackson County, Georgia, With $185 Million Investment

Siemens will create more than 1,400 jobs at an advanced manufacturing facility in Jackson County, Georgia, representing at least $185 million in investment, Governor Brian Kemp announced in a report published August 10, 2026. Construction is set to begin in November 2026.

Hiring for engineering, fabrication, assembly and testing roles is expected to begin in 2027, according to the report.

“Georgia was a natural choice for our next manufacturing investment. The state offers a strong business environment, access to a highly skilled workforce,” said Barry Powell, North America President of Siemens’ Electrical Products Business Unit.

Siemens is described as a global technology company specializing in electrification, automation and industrial software.
